Availability and Coronavirus update 21/11/21:

Portsmouth Massage remains open, on a reduced schedule with COVID management in place.
    • Outcalls, facials, appointments shorter than 1 hour, and cash payments are still not available.

    • Location: Appointments will be at the therapy room C/O Salix Health and Wellbeing Centre, 33 High Street, Old Portsmouth, PO12LS


  • If the Salix shop door is closed on arrival, please knock or call to be let in. Black double doors between the Dental Practice and the Co-op shop, .
  • Online bookings are typically available with a 24 hour lead time. If you would like an appointment within 24 hours, please contact Kirsten by phone, email or text to arrange last minute appointments.

  • Online Bookings for appointments can be for yourself or someone else. Please email any additional information for the recipients / your appointment.

  1.  Registered for mobile banking? PayM / Pingit / Pay a contact: Simply enter the Portsmouth Massage phone number 07789540646 / Kirsten McFarlane as the contact in your 'make a payment to contact' form. It will show as Kirsten McFarlane as Payee. 

  2. Direct Bank Transfer / cheque on request.

  3. Phone Credit Card or Debit Card Payments: Secure Sage Pay Card reader payments: including all card types, Contactless, Android Pay, Apple Pay. Android and apple pay have no limit, contactless card payments have a £45 limit.

5. Portsmouth Massage, Amex Vouchers/Gift Cards: Use in part, or full payment. Or, for example, If you have £75 in vouchers we can add time to the 1.5 hr appt (£72) to use the full value of vouchers.

If you have a voucher to redeem, call to book an appointment giving your Voucher reference number.

Amex Gift Card Information and purchases 

If you have a business or personal amex reward account, you can use your points to purchase Amex Gift Cards.

- The Salix Shop is open Thursdays and Fridays until further notice. Please ring doorbell for entry for your appointment. Salix double black doors to the south of the dentist's entrance before the Co-op Shop.

- Appointments are either 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. After Covid risks are reduced, shorter and longer appointments will be available again.

- Payment at time of booking. Sorry, no cash payments until further notice due to COVID. - you will be given prepayment options - either online, over phone with card reader or direct deposit.

You can book on the Book Now page book by phone, email or text - no in person bookings or walk-ins.

Gift voucher purchases can be made online either in the 'book now' section or gift voucher page. Just include a note of your Gift voucher recipient name and any message you would like to include.

Cancellation and change deadlines are reduced to 1 hours notice for most therapies - heated therapies require longer preparation/cancellation times - 6-24 hr notice.

- Each appointment requires more set up and clean up time before and after than normal. There will therefore be 30 minutes in between each appointment to allow for complete COVID sanitisation of everything clients have been in contact with.

- Arrive promptly: Please try to arrive a couple of minutes before your appointment, not over 10 minutes early or late.

- Windows will be open and the therapy room will be open with a screen over it - to increase ventilation for COVID management. There will not be any other people in the building, so there will not be any disturbance from the shop area with the therapy room door open.

- If you arrive for your appointment more than 10 minutes late and there is another booking after yours, your appointment will most likely have to be cancelled or rescheduled. If this happens there may be a cancellation fee of up to 100%.

- No shows will most likely incur 100% cancellation fee.

- I will be prioritising bookings for clients who have missed appointments the past few months due to covid lock down, and recent queries for new bookings.
You are not required to wear a mask during appointments, but if you are comfortable doing so I recommend this.
Please use the hand sanitiser at the door when you enter.
- Please bring your own water to keep hydrated before and after your appointment.
- If you use the toilet facilities please wash your hands after, and also put down the toilet seat before you flush to minimise airborne germ transmission.
- When booking, I will send you a consultation form which includes all COVID awareness and consent requirements. I will also send consent form for Track and Trace requirements - it is not a requirement to consent to having your personal details shared with Track and trace but I will have to hold a record of your appointment for 28 days.
